Alright so I was able to find it (I wasn't going into "all add ons"). The skin shortcuts add-on is already installed. If I try to uninstall it or disable it, I get an error telling me that I can't do it because the skin is using it.

You can also change the style of the osd in the sideblade settings.

In Confluence there is a nice box: Next recording: $TVChannel $Show

I actually found that adding this works well.
ActivateWindow(TVGuide)
I think the MCE remote doesnt work so well with the Guide button, so I assigned it to the green button instead.

Is there any way that when I press BACK on the remote from the full EPG it can go back to Live TV immediately?
At the moment I have to hit back 3 times to see TV again.

Well this is currently by design. I've been playing around with that to find the best way. It was hard enough to get the sideblade to show up at all via the EPG view.
The thing is, if I do make BACK go directly to fullscreen video, you woudn't be able to change the channel group, via sideblade. You would either have to map a button to the channel group dialog or stop the playback, then change group. personaly, I don't like it.
I am gonna try and make it go to fullscreen video while in sideblade.

My wife does also want to press BACK only once to watch TV
What about pressing EPG again to show the sideblade when in EPG-view?
BTW: where is the new version with Recording-info? I can't see it on github

Is there a reason for the /media/ folder being empty? the folder new_pvr is not there so i don't have guide colors. any idea?
When i switch back to normal nox with your tv addon, i still have my old genre colors but the folders inside the media folder are not there either. Any idea?
