So i have just loaded up a film to watch tonight through my Samsung TV from Kodi on Genesis addon, and took a good 2 hours to download and when i tried connecting it to the TV via HDMI cable it just shows the background on my laptop no scroll bar at the bottom and Kodi doesn't show up on the TV. The only way around this is if i connect my laptop to the TV first then load up the movie which is very awkward as i can't use do my work on my laptop if it's connected to the TV, is there anyway around this please?
