DAAPD & Kodibuntu
#1
I know this may be off topic a bit but I am trying to install a daapd server in the background on a NUC running kodibuntu to serve out music to apple devices on the local network. I've tried forked-daapd, spydaapd & tangerine but they dont show up on the devices list although they were running. I thought it may have been a port conflict somewhere but I'm beginning to doubt that now. Is this even possible to do?
I know I can install DLNA clients on the apple devices but I just dont like the interface of any of the ones I've seen (Goodplayer, Mediaconnect, ArkMc, VLC etc). Any suggestions are welcome.
