No UPnP servers shown

I've two UPnP servers running in my local network, a FritzBox with external drive and activated media server and a RasPi running MiniDLNA for audio files only.

Usually I use a RasPi with OpenELEC and Kodi for playback. It shows both DLNA servers. They are available in 8Player on my iPod, as well.

Now, I installed Kodi 14.2 on my Mac (MacOS X 10.9.4) and I cannot see the DLNA servers.

I found that FAQ, which tells something about "others servers", like EyeTV, running and disturbing. I'm not quite sute if this a the issue here. I don't have any EyeTV installed.

Additionally I shut down the MiniDLNA to see if the FritzBox media server is visible. But nope, Kodi On the Mac doesn't show anything.

Any ideas?

Might it be necessary to open a port?

Thanks.

Yepp. I allowed incoming connections to Kodi and it works.

Thanks.
