Would it be possible in kodi to show a container/list with all the tv shows but when clicked not going to episode list but playing the next un watched episode or if one wasn't finished continue there?

I think there might be an addon that does that called LazyTV.

If you use v15.0 (Isengard) and enable 'Select the first unwatched TV show season/episode' as well as 'Enable automatic playback of the next file in the list.' as soon as you enter the episode level the the correct episode will be selected and when you get to the end the next one will be played automatically.
