For clearifying....DTS is supported by Kodi. Got it? So there is nothing to add anymore.
To help you, you have to help us by providing a Debug Log <- click here for a how to.
If you don´t provide this logfile, we can´t help you. Do you understand that?
It depends on different things If you can play DTS files. So please...PLEASE....provide the log
If (maybe) everything is fine with the log and you still have the issue, so we can´t help you. As you bought this thing with Kodi preinstalled. So the seller has to support its own device. If the seller does not support it, you have been ripped off. Don´t be angry...you are not the only one who has this problem with some boxes which are shipped with Kodi preinstalled and which aren´t supported by the seller.
The problem is, Team Kodi don´t support applications which are probably changed by the seller, as they can´t know what exactly they might have changed that Kodi even run on this device.
So you have 2 choices....
Keep the device and live with the issue and payed some money to get to know not to pay them anymore
or
sell this thing, buy some proper supported hardware without kodi preinstalled and install it. There is a hardware support subforum to get to know, which device you should buy.
But first.....
Provide the Debug Log
