I have the same problem on Kodi 15 RC1 on Fire TV (ARM) when using PVR with the IPTV Simple Client.
It seems like it's different whether a stream is opened using PVR (Simple Client) or an .m3u/.strm file so I did some testing.

If a stream is opened in a .stream or .m3u file the log says there is always one of those skips and that's it. I didn't even hear that happen. But if the same stream (the same m3u file even) is used in IPTV Simple Client and started via PVR there are skips all the time.

Here is the log of the stream using an .m3u-file (Sound works, there is just one skip reported in the log file that I did not recognize):

Can someone figure out how streams are treated differently?

Sound works in the first log, the skipping problem only occurs when using pvr which is used in the second log. I also updated the original post.

Maybe this clue might help someone figure it out. Sound skipping occurs 15-20 seconds in PVR simple client, and Stalker PVR client - but NOT when the same stream is loaded in the ivue integrated Stalker program. Firetv Kodi 15 rc1. Thanks for all the hard work you guys do.

Please do a 15.0.1 release which comes with this fix, because this issue makes 15.0 almost unusable.
