Hi everyone,

I'm using Kodi 14.2 "Helix" with DVBSky S960 DVB-S/S2 USB device and the windows Media Center Service on a normal Windows 7 Installation.
Nearly everything works fine, but the EPG is still empty.

Why?

Is it populated in WMC itself?

Try resetting Epg database in Kodi system menu

I reset the epg database in the kodi system menu, but with no effect.
The EPG is still empty. In WMC the EPG it is working.

Could the date be set wrong on your kodi client machine? If not, consider posting the serverwmc log on pastebin.com after this client connects to serverwmc.

This. I noticed my WMC EPG was empty for the first time in months, not sure why. My server running WMC did get Windows updates are reboot recently, so maybe something killed the auto updating of the WMC EPG. I went into WMC and forced an update, then went into Kodi and performed a PVR Database reset. Now all is well. Hopeful that was a one time thing...

I tried out all and found out, that the epg only works in kodi if all services are runnning and the pvr database then needs a reset.
Now the epg works fine.
