Using uPnP with PS3 kills WiFi
#1
I've been using Kodi now for over a year and I just cut the cord on my TV subscriber. I learned that my PS3 could stream from Kodi so I set it up in the bedroom. My HTPC is downstairs in the living room. I am using XBMC (Kodi) Gotham, version 13 I believe, Windows 7, 64-bit on my HTPC. The PS3 can stream my TV Shows and files okay but when I do it seems to completely kill the WiFi in the House. My phones and tablets can't connect and my Home security cameras stop working too. This is a big problem for me and I wondered if anyone else has experienced this or if there are any solutions anyone could help me try. I just got a new router, TP-LINK Archer C7 AC1750 and just installed Norton Antivirus on my main office computer so it controls the Windows/network firewall but it isn't installed on the HTPC and I didn't set the PS3 up until after having these.
