A while back i got usb from someone and openelec was installed in it with xbmc. But i upgraded to a bigger flash drive and now i need to figure out how to install openelec to the usb ONLY. I don't want to ruin the apple tv firmware. Is there a way to install openelec to the usb flash drive and only when i connect the usb & it boots to openelec. I have it that way right now but in my old usb which is running super slow. How do i create one similar.

Just a heads up, ATV1, OpenELEC, etc, are not iOS.

Create a System Backup first, so you will not need to reconfigure again.

NOTE: Ethernet needs to be connected to ATV1.
The last supported OpenElec build for the ATV1 is v4.2.1
