I have a Macbook pro 13 “ with OSX Mountain Lion 10.8.5
The internal drive has been replaced with a SSD disk.
Before I swapped the drives, I cloned them. My problem is that now,
after the Mac has booted up, it takes approx. 1,5 minutes for OS X to “load”
all files on the SSD drive, making all the files and programs visible to me.
(Beside that, the SSD disk is fully operational.) There`s I.E. a 1,5 minute delay before I can use Spotlight.
When starting the Mac in safe mode, this problem does not occur.
I have also tried a clean install of OSX and then, the system worked fine.
However, I have to use my “vintage” OSX setup, due to program licensing, and functionality. That is, my older Time Machine OSX restore version.
I have repaired/verified the SSD disk in safe mode.
“Loading” disk files delay is still a problem after bootup.
Is this problem due to disk rights problems?
I hope that someone can help me out with this problem
Thank you in advance!
