Yea, I'd agree, the current method of setting up a series record (I'm using a Media Portal back end) is way to complex to explain to the family.

Pressing the record button twice a WMC does iwould be a great feature.

I'm almost certain that this has already been added. It might not be an option for all PVR clients, depending on how things are set up, but series recording should be included now.

PVR.WMC doesn't seem to support the option
