Hello all,
I have a problem with getting HDMI CEC working on my Toshiba TV (32AV833G) with Open ELEC 5.0.9 on my brand new RPI2. A bunch of facts:
- TV does support CEC (aka HDMI Link) (http://www.manualslib.com/manual/527382/...=46#manual)
- Kodi Extension DOES detect the TV and says it's connected.
- Works: powering on/off upon turning the RPi on/off
- Doesn't work: everything else
I cross checked the board with my main, Samsung TV (worked fine) and also hooked up my old RPi B to Toshiba TV - same result as above. My first thought was the cable, but according to the spec, the CEC is one-wire standard (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDMI#CEC), so if the RPi does detect the TV, it should work?
Did anyone else had similar issues with Toshiba TVs? I've seen couple of threads but none of there really reflected my situation... I hope to get another HDMI cable to check (the one plugged into Samsung is hidden in the wall), but I don't really suspect the cable...
Thanks,
Radek
