Hi,
when I play music (mp3) with Kodi it sometimes stops for some seconds. Often it is about 30 seconds after a new song started, sometimes it's at 2 minutes or something else.
With XBMC everything worked fine. I already did a complete new install of Kodi 14.2 and now upgraded to 15 (15.0-RC1 nightly build June 26).
I found out, that every time this happens, from beginning of the song on nothing is read from hardddrive. When music stops, harddrive is at 100% and when music is playing again, there is read from harddrive continuously.
Kodi is installed on C: (SSD). Music is stored in a folder on D: (HDD).
I do not have this issue with other players like Winamp or VLC (as I said, also not with XBMC).
That's why I think maybe the problem is, how kodi is reading, caching oder buffering?
Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit
Intel i7-4500U @ 1.80 GHz - 2.40 GHz
8GB RAM
