Accessing local trailers.
#1
Hi all. I am trying to find out if something is possible. Unsure if this should be part of the skin or something else in Kodi.

I have local trailers saved with all my movies, along with all the appropriate artwork. They all have the -trailer tag similar to the way artwork is tagged. Is there a way to be able to access a list of every locally stored trailer? If so, how does one go about it?

I also have a folder for "coming soon" trailers, movies that are not yet in my library. It would be great to be able to include this folder in the list somehow. They don't have the -trailer tag but I could add that easily.

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure Cinema Experience can do what you're looking for, have a look at the Wiki:

Cinema Experience is awesome, but it's for playing a movie with a theater-like playlist. I'm trying to figure out if I can view a list of all the local trailers at once, pick and choose to watch any, and not then have to start an actual movie. So it doesn't work for this situation.

Smart playlists don't have a way to find these trailer files as they are not scraped into the library like regular movies would be but in the same way artwork is scraped. There would have to be a way to read each movie's information to see if it has a local trailer stored in the info. I'm not sure how that might work, if it's even possible.
