Wireless Networks Settings Missing
#1
Hello,

I've recently purchased a Rpi 2 card and installed Kodi v14.2 on it.
I also purchased the official Rpi wifi adapter from the swag store and I'm trying to connect my Pi to a wireless network.

I've plugged in the wifi adapter and turned the Pi on. Under OpenELEC Settings section, I'm trying to enable wireless networks, but it appears to be missing (picture attached).

My guess is that the adapter is not recognized by the card. There's no indication when connecting or disconnecting it at all.

Help would be appreciated.

The Broadcom chipset used in the official RPi WiFi adapter isn't supported in OE 5.0.8 but is supported by OE 6 Beta2 (Kodi15), so upgrade your system to Beta2 and your WiFi should work out of the box.

Hi all, i have seen around the way that some people had issues with the xbox one controller not working on kodi but was able to be fixed by changing around some drivers. Now the wireless adapter is out i was hoping for it to just work, but, no good at all. The only thing Kodi detects is the triggers for volume and thats it.
