Amazon FireStick

Have been looking into buying a fully loaded Android box as seen on Ebay, Amazon. Many of these seem to be generic boxes coming from China. This would lead me to believe that any guarantee is effectively void. There also seems to always be complaints regarding build quality & functionality of the boxes.

On reading a little more the FireStick seems to be the better option. These are also available on Ebay fully loaded. Is it better to buy 1 of these or to buy the stick & install Kodi myself. I can't seem to find a guide on how to do it so don't know how difficult it would be.

I think you're best just buying the stick and doing it yourself and it may help you to get used to working with it and possibly make it easier when you come to setting up Kodi which can be a pain.
There's plenty of guides online

Correct DIY. The process would be the same as the Fire TV box. Best sources:

AFTV (non-rooted + Kodi)
