Since I've upgraded to isengard none of my mkv encoded films are fitting into the screen.
In fact the film is not displayed at the topmost-leftmost part of the screen and only a half of the video is visible on the screen (the right and lower part are getting out of the visible area)

What kind of settings should I fine tune?
(the video file itself is OK as I can see it on my Wndows PC with VLC media player)

Any idea?

Try setting the resolution in Android to 720 as a temp workaround. The video will still output at 1080, I believe.

I have this exact issue however it is with rtp streams (through simply IPTV addon), on an android set top box, I don't see anyway to set the screen resolution either within or outside of kodi

android version is 4.4.2

On my Android box the resolution was already set to 720.
So this seems not to be the solution.
An again: This issue exists since I've upgraded to Isengard (both beta and relaise versions)
