Hi,

I have installed Server WMC on my Windows 7 laptop. When I'm trying to open it, I get the following message...

RecService > failed to loag EPG
Unrecoverable Error - Server will terminate!

I am using build 1199.

How can I resolve this issue?

I am a newbie, I don't have much experience on these things.

Do you have wmc (windows media centre) on your windows 7 pc fully setup and working? ServerWMC is an interface layer between Kodi and WMC so you first need wmc working, then install ServerWMC, then in Kodi enable the pvr addon for pvr.wmc

I'm trying to configure Media Center but I cannot find this settings page

Do I need a TV Tuner for Media Center even If I will use it with Kodi?

All I want to do is record series or tv shows from my Kodi.

First, you need a fully functional Windows Media Center PC with access to TV tuner(s) hooked up to OTA or cable TV. Do not do anything else until this is fully configured and you are able to watch TV and record shows.

Then you can install ServerWMC on the same PC.

Then you can connect to ServerWMC via Kodi.

I was thinking that I can record Tv shows only with ServerWMC but it seems like that I need a Tv- Tuner.

Is there any way for recording live Tv shows on Kodi without a Tv-Tuner?
