Export a bibliotheca from music and video creates allways empty files or an empty XML file!
If select "Single" location is asked otherwise not.
#4
Could this be a problem with the export/import from google play addon too?
Cause that doesnt work either.. maybe its related?
#5
Export only exports the local sqlite database which is maintained by kodi. No other databases (like those from addons) are contained here. Also i think i fixed the initial request - every new issue should be brought up in a dedicated thread for keeping the confusion level low.

Hi Memphiz,

I don't know if this is related but I've tried exporting the addon audio stream links via strm files, creating .nfo files like the ones created when the library is exported with the song metadata to be later imported in Kodi library. Unfortunately Kodi won't recognize these files and import into it's library. Is this behavior expected or some kind of bug?

You need to mimic the correct format. Scan one local album into your db, export it, have a close look into what was exported and then create the needed files for your strm files - kodi will import it then (at least if the format is correct). If it doesn't, have a look into the debug log (wiki) for any errors.

Also it is not related. If users would read what this thread is about (hint: first post) they would realise that.

userdata/Database/MyMusic52.db has 73 entries

Content of musicdb.xml:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
<musicdb />

Please add a debug log of you doing an export and the version number you are using might also be nice

One last time - we are in the feature request forum here - this should be brought up to the others in the support forum via a dedicated thread instead.
