Installed 15.1 and it over wrote all add ons and disabled all sound. Tried deleting 15.1 and back to Helix but still no sound

I have the same problem. NO SOUND! I have fire tv with Kodi 15.1 . I have been killing myself trying to find a fix for this. I am trying not to uninstall but I have no sound on the tv in my bedroom. I'm going to hold on and see what happens. Please help us soon

Ok so here is what I did. I uninstalled Kodi and still didn't have any sound. My husband hooked up a dvd player to the tv and it had sound. So I did a factory reset on my fire tv box and a fresh install with a newer version of Kodi and I have SOUND!!!!
