Mini-PC as a replacement for multi-players
#1
I am trying to get rid of as many media players as I can. I heard there are these new computers which are cheap and fanless. - Zotac Zbox or intel NUC.

This is great as I can replace my WDTV with it. But I believe I can attach a BD drive to it and make it my BD player too. I am guessing with BD drives I will also have not to worry about region restrictions, I am sure some software can over come that.

am I missing something here? Is this computer good enough to run BD? This alone can replace my BD/DVD player, Chromecast, AppleTV (iTunes), and WDTV and use it for Kodi.

Any one know more about using Mini-PCs as a media center? Which are preferred which are not? Anything I should keep an eye for?
