I'd really want to be able to set auto refresh rate sync by library/catalog/directory, but most of all, by addons. My TV's use a couple of seconds to resync and I don't care for refresh rate syncs when browsing youtube or other video addons. For instance the auto refresh rate setting could be a global setting and we could define exceptions within the context menu. Or it could be the reverse or something else.

Thats more a request then for the addons themselves. Not sure if it would be possible either way.

Doesn't have to be up to the addons themselves. I'd argue it's best to leave that to Kodi. The addons should not care about such a setting, just like they don't care about if you have auto refresh rate set at the present Kodi release. Maybe the best would to add exceptions under the auto refresh settings itself (instead of having to manually do it for each addon through the context menu?)
