Can anyone point me toward info/resources for creating a custom infoline? I'd like to be able to show network info (especially IP address) as an infoline - mostly so I know at a glance whether or not I have an internet connection. (Or maybe someone has another way of doing this?)

If you install a weather app, you will see the info on your bar such as the temp.
If there is no info and has a line through it, you are not connected to the internet.

You can also install a widget and use system info. It will display your ip if you're connected.
