Okay - so the we way are going to re-write the addon to use JSON-RPC (assuming the test shows it is viable) will be to populate params objects with all the Kodi native fields. Seems like this will fit in well down the road with the importer methodology once it is fleshed out a bit more. It will also be a good platform for developing that solution.
