Buffering issues with 3.3.0
#1
I'm using the Milhouse Kodi 16 test builds for RPI2. A recent build updated pvr.mythtv from 3.2.1 to 3.3.0. That update appears to have some rather odd buffering issues when watching recorded TV. A test build with everything the same except rolling pvr.mythtv back to 3.2.1 works without issue.

Issued addressed and worked around in 3.3.2. Thanks!

For info the bug is tracked with http://trac.kodi.tv/ticket/16141 .

PVR.MythTV for Isengard (kodi 15) with version >= 2.6.2 is affected too. But a fix (workaround) will be merged into kodi 15.2. So you should downgrade to 2.6.1 until out of kodi 15.2.

I posted 2.6.1 binaries for OpenELEC 6.0 at http://janbar.github.io/pvr.mythtv/download/index.html

I've not tested this on an RPi, but I believe https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/8032 (https://github.com/metaron-uk/xbmc/commi...6d1c5aL478) should reduce the CPU load for Jarvis as well if it gets merged.

It's not a proper fix to get realtime stream buffering working properly, but that needs a videoplayer/dvdplayer fix as well. (See https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/7905)
