Is there a way that I can filter certain (adult) movies to appear in a different library to the rest of my movies? For example to create a new library to appear on the home screen to have files scraped by Data18 in, but files scraped by TheMovieDB still appear in the movies library?

Using separate profiles.
Put your adult movies in
Movies/18/movie
And normal movies in
Movies/G/movie

On one profile for everyone add movies/G/ as your movie source

On the other profile for adults add both

You can password protect profiles
