I have a 6 tuner card and need a back end with support for a Comcast CableCard. I was going to go with NextPVR. But it's starting to look like the signal isn't supported. It might be copy-once/copy-never. I don't know.

You can use Tuner Salad to increase the 4 tuner limit, I currently have 6 set up and working (2 x Hdhomerun Prime)

If the copy flag is set, you'll be in the same boat as NextPVR. Only WMC can play copy protected streams and recordings.
