I am still not clear with Kodi/Linux can or cannot be setup for External DVD/bluray player

I know that there was a xml config modification that had to be done on Kodi 14, but had thought
perhaps 15 Isengard would be the fix and be able to play with Video Add-on somehow...

Plus i know there is a Bluray java license workaround for menus being mentioned on other groups...

So....anyway have the low down on this?

Yes , the best way seems to be by using the makemkv libraries, and there is a long thread about that. Unfortunately I can't find the thread right now.
