I have an Apple TV 1 that I'm running Openelec and Kodi (Isengard 15.0.RC2). I have all of my media on an USB attached hard drive. I managed to get it all set up so Kodi can see the drive and everything. Currently when I want to add more media to the drive I have been unplugging it from Kodi, plugging it into my iMac, copying the files over and then plugging it back into Kodi.
I would love to be able to copy to the hard drive over the network. I can see my Apple TV in finder (it shows up as OPENELEC) and I can see and read all of my media on the drive. It just won't let me copy to it. I have logged into Openelec in Finder as guest, as well as root (using openelec as password) but no matter what it says that I don't have permission to copy to it. Any ideas?
