I just found the site hxxp://www.4tv.com and was wondering if anyone wanted to tackle a script for it. It's got a lot of free channels ( a few are HD ) and no registration required.

Hello,
this is already 90% covered by http://www.xbmc-tv.com . I will browse the archive you posted and add missing stations as far as that is possible (depending on presentation type of stream (drm vs. no drm, p2p vs. no p2p, ...) and availability of the streaming resource). If you haven't tried out XBMC-TV yet, this is your chance: Simply navigate to http://www.xbmc-tv.com , go to the downloads section and grab the latest streampack snapshot from there. Unzip the archive, ftp it to your XBOX (preferrably E:\XBMC-TV\ ). Then start XBMC and go to the "My videos" section. Press the white controller button there and add a source there: Navigate to the folder you just ftped (e.g. E:\XBMC-TV) and set that as source, tag it with a name of your choice (I'd recommend XBMC-TV
). And then you should be all ready and set to have fun with around 300 TV streams from all over the world and 200 webcams from all over the world.

Just to add to what I said yesterday: Most of the streams that are on http://www.4tv.com are not working what really sucks.
And: If you were looking for a script that features the adult section of 4tv.com I am sorry to tell you, that this will not be implemented into XBMC-TV in the near future. The dev team is still holding discussions on whether or not to have adult streams within the collection, results will be published in this forum.

Not being a muppet here but how do you actually use XBMC-TV? the wiki is empty and there doesnt seem to be a script for it?

No prob, here's how to get it working:
Basically XBMC-TV is not a script, but it is right now a collection of .strm files.
