Does Kodi support 3D MVC playback?
#1
I'm having some difficulty in finding the answer, but does Kodi (running on Linux or perhaps Windows) support 3D MVC from MKV files?

I'm talking about full-frame 3D (i.e. framepacking) also referred to as "Full 3D HD".

It looks like the Raspberry Pi 2 supports this and will also activate 3D modes on TVs, but could Kodi on Linux also do this?

(For reference, my machine is using an Intel E6600 CPU and Nvidia GT 430 GPU)

Yep - Raspberry Pi is the only platform that supports 3D MVC within Kodi's internal player - though it is running Linux. (OpenElec is Linux-based) It's the only platform that currently has Open Source driver support for MVC decoding. There is no Open Source software decoding for MVC. There is some work going on apparently - but it is a non-trivial job.
