Hi there, I would like to realize a project of mine and therefore need a little help.
I got my hands on an old vga projector and would like to create a "outdoor cinema station" for the summer.
The plan is to view the movie with the projector and to listen to the "movie-audio" via a multicast stream that will be received by multiple smartphones (mostly android's).
Why so cumbersome?
Well we want to watch a movie in the garden, but don't disturb our neighbors
I plan to use a Raspberry PI B+ together with the projector and a wifi-router.
The Raspberry would be connected to the router via lan cable.
The video part is all settled, now I am looking for a solution to stream the movie sound over the network to smartphones (in a format that is playable via a app, for example)
I did some diggin on the interwebs, but till now i did not succeed in finding a solution
So far I found some slightly different solutions that used pulseaudio and the "module-rtp-send" but i could not generate a working setup for me.
Any thoughts on my project? Is it even possible? Alternatives? Solutions?
