Hi All!

I'll use a Tablet Computer as HTPC - but all Tablets have 1920x1200 or 1280x800 according to the aspect ratio 16x10.
The TV has 1920x1080 or 1280x800 according to the aspect ratio 16x9.
This results in black borders on the right and on the left

Does anyone have an idea to avoid the borders?

This would probably be better asked in the android section.
I played with this a while ago and got everything working nicely - trouble is I can't remember which app I used to set the resolution - or whether it required root.
Anyway it was one of these (I think it was the first one):
