To get live tv to work on kodi do you need to change settings. When I play a channel it will play for a couple of seconds and then shuts down and goes back to the channel screeen.

What are you using as a source for live tv? Please provide a debug log.

Do you need to change settings in kodi to get some streams to play right

Yes, but you need to explain what are you using as a source for live tv? Please provide a debug log.
