Win Wireless Streaming on Windows 10
#1
I am trying to stream HD mkv movies wirelessly using a 802.11ac wireless access point and high gain antenna wireless card. I'm getting a fairly strong signal, but Windows 10 says that the connection speed (under "Status") is about 390Mbps. It's not buffering, but it appears to be changing frame rate or skipping frames and the audio loses sync (I'm using a SP/DIF optical connection with transcoding, not sure if this matters). I downgraded to 14.2 Helix from 15.2 Isengard after reading some posts on the forum, but it doesn't seem to have an effect. Any suggestions on how to debug or maybe what I should do (besides hard-wiring)?
