Didn't read everything, but for OpenELEC TVHeadend is in unofficial repo:

This has nothing in the Repo

and it cannot be updated via the context menu. --

pvr.hts is in the official openelec repo.

Or are you looking for the tvheadend server package? That is in the unofficial openelec repo. You install the unofficial repo from the official repo.

Will double check this evening - don't remember seeing it, spent over an hour looking, but i could have gotten my eyes crossed.

i am all good now, i manually installed the client with

sudo apt-get install kodi-pvr-hts
