Hello all, I'm in need of some enlightenment.

I've just bought a 4K Lg smart tv and I'm trying to find a way of watching Kodi on it, without using Apple TV
Either by mirroring from iOS device (iPad/iPhone)

Or if it's possible to install on USB stick and connect to TV and use directly

I've seen a video using xbian on USB via Linux but not sure if it would work on my Tv

My Lg tv uses web OS2.0

No, buy a computer and plug it into your tv via hdmi. See the hardware section for several threads about the best machines.

Thanks for the reply, I do have Kodi installed already on iOS devices but didn't want to go down the box/pc route if possible, just wasn't aware if it was possible to have it on a bootable USB stick to use directly on Smart TV

I know not Kodi but if you don't want a seperate pc or FireTV stick then try Plex available as an app for most smart tv's.
