Hi there

I was just wondering what kinda security concerns I should be aware of with running xbmc?

I've got it connected to my router, which also has two desktops PCs (both running a firewall) connected to it. The fact that xbmc has access to some network shares on the desktops, and afaik xbmc has no built in firewall, I was a little worried about it being open to the internet.....

So, I was wondering what kinda network security is built into xbmc to stop evil little hackers from breaking in and messing my lovely xbox and, even worse, gaining access to my network?

as long as you have a router, you prob do NAT.

if so, there's no way for a outsider to address your xbox...
