NTSC vs PAL
#1
I noticed that most skins are developed in PAL mode. I am working on a skin but my tv is NTSC should I develop for NTSC or is there a benefit to developing for PAL and letting XBMC downsize the skin?

Thanks,
JB

Doesn't really matter either way. The only difference is the number of pixels high.

I suggest you use XBMC_PC to develop the skin anyway, which ofcourse doesn't care what resolution your TV is Wink

Jonathan

Thanks for the reply. I think I will stick with PAL and use those extra pixels. I am using XBMC_PC and messed with switching between NTSC and PAL seems to downsize real well. Here is an early screen shot of what I am working on. Very early stages

Yeah I go for Pal just because downsizing seems more logical than upsizing to me
