Why do some Blu-Rays (folder structures) skip during playback??!!
#1
Hi All,
I have not been able to find anything regarding this (or maybe I just don't know what to look for) for a long time now and it is bugging the hell out of me since a lot of my Blu-Rays are not playable (skips like half a minute every so many minutes and everything goes out of sync). It is not with all blurays. I noticed that the ones atleast having issues have lots of "play main title" entries in the simple bluray playback menu. And they usually start with a just high numbers. But not sure if that is the case for all.
Also if I play the same bluray (index.bdmv) with for example another media player (Mpc-hd) the bluray plays fine.
So looks like some issue in Kodi. Does anyone know what causes this! And how to repair this?? Please help.

I run Kodi on a NUC with W10 pro by the way.

Thanks
Awandele

There has been a problem with such discs/isos in kodi 15, it has been fixed since 16 beta 3.

Ok that sounds promising. I will go and try the Jarvis beta as soon as I am able and see if these problems do not occur anymore with my blurays.

I did start with full blurays/isos around 15 came out so hopefully that's it!
Thanks for the quick reply!
