So with windows 10, Microsoft dropped support for Windows Media Centre (WMC) which is what ServerWMC hooks into.
Luckily some resourceful people managed to get a procedure sorted which does allow you to get WMC to run on windows 10, there is another thread in this forum about it which takes you to the other forum where all the instructions etc are. I'm not sure if everything fully works though...
It's certainly easier to leave your backend server on windows 7 or 8 where WMC just works our of the box from Microsoft, but if you are keen you should still be able to get things working on windows 10

But if have wmc already installed in win10, the problem you are seeing is due to our installer not recognizing the dll versions that got installed in wmc. You can can fix this by hand editing a file inside of the serverwmc project directory. Go the serverwmc install directory and edit the file: ServerWMC.exe.config in a text editor.
Inside the file, everywhere you see:
<bindingRedirect oldVersion="0.0.0.0-6.3.0.0" newVersion="6.3.0.0"/>
change it to
<bindingRedirect oldVersion="0.0.0.0-6.3.0.0" newVersion="10.0.0.0"/>
Then save the file and restart serverwmc

Thanks krusty! One other minor thing, Says no guide data available? I would assume it just takes a moment? worked in nextpvr and its frontend. And another thing is the option guide doesnt let me scroll through anything, All my channels show up however. EDIT: Turns out windows update server doesn't work for tv channel listings any longer, I have tried a few tutorials like adding lines to the bottom of the hosts file, running the task needed to update in task scheduler, and flushing dns with no success sadly.

Strange, following the instructions in their troubleshooting guide seems to work in all the cases I know of. If you can't work it out, post about your problem to the guys on the mdl forum, they have been pretty helpful

Does seem like over kill to get radio going all right, maybe check the software that came with your tuner (ha!). But all I know is wmc so I don't have a suggestion. Maybe Spotify?
Happy holidays to you too.

I've tried this fix but still get the same error message except it says ver10.0.0.0 not reg?
What am I doing wrong?
sorry the error message I am getting now is
could not load file or assembly 'mcepg, Ver=6.1.0.0
That is after changing the log file as suggested.

I'm confused. Can you post the error message exactly (like do a screen capture of it) and the ServerWMC.exe.config file you are using?

I followed the fix when I went to Windows 10 and all worked well.
But since the latest Windows update "Feature update to Windows 10, version 1703" I now get the following error message;
"Could not load file or assembly 'mcepg, Version=10.0.0.0 blah blah blah' ..."
Any help?
Edit: No longer an issue after uninstalling and reinstalling Media Centre.
