Can't figure out how to install TVheadend plugin
#1
Hi all,

I've previously (until last night) had Myth as my tv backend, but I removed it to go back to TVHeadend, but when I go to settings -> TV -> Enable in Kodi, it says that I need a tuner, a backend and a plugin. I now don't know why Kodi doesn't recognise my new TVheadend backend, and thus allow me to get the TVheadend client plugin, any ideas please?

Plugin navigation always manages to confuse me, I looked for disabled plugins but couldn't see it, also looked for all the PVR plugins but I couldn't find those either.

I'm running Kodi 15.2

thanks in advance - happy new year!

What OS is your Kodi system? If it's Linux, PVR add-ones are no longer part of Kodi; they must be installed separately.

For TVHeadend, the PVR add-on is called pvr.hts, so your distribution probably has named the package something like: kodi-addon-pvr-hts.
