Can not get my kodi systems to use a mysql database. Trying to set up the database on my synology nas using myphpadmin.
Setup: Mac mini 2009 running kodi 16.beta 4 and a imac 2011 running kodi 16.beta 4. My library is a ftp share (my friend's server).
The database is running and the advancedsettings.xlm file contains the correct iP for my mysql database on my local network.
Is it possible to use a mysql database when using remote shares (ftp over Internet)??
Tried to set up a new mysql database on my Mac, but can't get the mysql to run on it. In terminal I've got issues with root password trying to create users for kodi.
