Win Issue with 2nd file in TV Shows split-episodes

Question
Hi,

Just as slipt video files (Movies) should be named as e.g.
Avatar (2009).part 1.avi
Avatar (2009).part 2.avi
Avatar (2009).part 3.avi

So that tMM sorts them as one sigle movie, the same behaviour is expected in split-episodes in TV Shows e.g.
DocumentaryName - S2014E218 - Name.1.avi
DocumentaryName - S2014E218 - Name.2.avi

I have noticed twice that tMM will create right folder structure, download media into:

\TV Shows\Documentary (2000)

and move the first part into that folder

\TV Shows\\Documentary (2000)\DocumentaryName - S2014E218 - Name.1.avi

However, part 2 will not and so stay in parent folder

\TV Shows\DocumentaryName - S2014E218 - Name.2.avi

This has happened to me already twice so I think there might be a bug there? Any comments are welcome.

Regards,

If I understand the Wiki correctly (http://kodi.wiki/view/Naming_video_files/TV_shows - chapter "2.3 Split-episode"), your files should be titled smthg like

DocumentaryName - S2014E218.1 - Name.avi
DocumentaryName - S2014E218.2 - Name.avi

Whether TMM respects that naming convention or not I cannot tell.

Well, Fry7 is right - split episode marker should be right after the episode.
Unfortunately, we are not able to detect/handle this yet...

A workaround could be to use the stacking markers as for movies... like part1, part2...
But i never tried that myself...

I did, doesn't work for TV shows.

Hi,

Thanks, Fry7, for that remark. I have just tried both alernatives as well:

DocumentaryName - S2014E218.1 - Name.avi
DocumentaryName - S2014E218.2 - Name.avi

and

DocumentaryName - S2014E218 - Name.part1.avi
DocumentaryName - S2014E218 - Name.part2.avi

So I can confirm it does not work. I noticed this when trying to catalogue a BBC documentary that was broadcasted by a different TV corporation - it had been split in two parts. And, in a different case, the same documentary was broadcast split to match a TV show time duration. So there is some importante to this setting, I should say. However, thank you myron for that yet in

If you need some beta-testing, just say it.
