First post (sorry if I'm in the wrong section)
I'm stuck with XBMC because Kodi has serious thumbnails issues!
In my movies collection I have only MP4 files with custom thumbnails (each movie's poster).
Both windows explorer and XBMC display those thumbnails correctly, but Kodi shows a random thumbnail from the video file!
Can I fix this? If not, is it going to be fixed in later versions of Kodi?
Please help guys because I really want to update to Kodi.

Moving along to Kodi along with the name change Kodi naming convention changed for graphics artwork (wiki).

Got it. But you should really try to fix this. It's a shame that crippled windows explorer shows correct thumbnails and kodi doesn't.

If you upgraded sequentially the fix would have come along. Seeing that you're way back with XBMC (I'll assume 13.2) you'll either need to grab the next iteration and update, or re-scrape (please note the conversion package on install is not available in the lastest Kodi). As indicated the gfx convention has changed from XBMC to Kodi, the user thumbs are now all jpegs and named as such... click click. Time to move along.
