Just installed adbfire on my mac and wanted to connect to my FireTV.

After adding the IP Adress of FireTV to adbfire and hitting connect i get error message .Device offline. Here are my Settings


The Refresh also says "Device offline"


A Ping of the IP shows that its online.
Was running everything on a windows laptop before and it was fine

Not sure if Kodi Partition and Fire Path are correct?!

out of scope of this forum - please ask the provider/author of that application (its not related to team kodi...)

Press the console button in adbfire then issue the following commands

adb kill-server then adb start-server in a terminal window.


I understand this is off topic, but it's an easy answer that should work

whats adbfire as a matter of interest? Didnt get a clear answer from the other thread other than it interfaces with android?

It's just an easy way to sideload Kodi onto the Fire TV hardware, since they don't have the Google Play Store.
