I have a hikvision ipcam that I set up to watch for my little ones' bus in the morning. It works amazingly well! I have a main Kodi menu item set up to switch to a .strm file that I put the ipcam info into.
Once in a while, maybe 1 out of 10 times, when the ipcam is selected from the menu the stream starts out paused. I notice this and immediately press stop on the remote and go back into the stream, but my wife and kids sometimes don't notice as the static image of our neighborhood street is otherwise fairly unchanged from the live one. This obviously causes some havoc when the bus is coming and they don't see it!
Anyone know of a way to prevent this black swan event? We would only ever want to see the live image from this ipcam.
