Hello all
I hope someone can help me ... going crasy here.
I bought the Nvidia Shield last week and installed the latest Kodi.
Now when watching movies over diverent stream adons..kodi closes and Nvidia
Returns to the home screen.
I think it dose not crash because when I start kodi again the movie is stil open and I can continu
to watch. I taught it related to stream adons but I tested on different and same issue there.
I also tested movies from HD an they stop playing too... Strange situation

Who can help me?

which addons are you talking about? Be aware that some of them are banned. See here:

Those addons and repositories might causing issues. So as long as those are installed it´s hard to give you support. To rule those issues out, just remove all those banned addons and repositories (if they are installed) and try again with a local video.

If that still fails, get us a Debug Log.

Ok just uninstalled all addons.
So I just played my movies from the HD. But Kodi is still closing.
But when I use the vlc player all is good.

I think this is strange because Kodi is not crashing..
When i go back into ad from hd .. Than I can watch the movie where it stopped. I have tested different HDs
Like normal hd or SSD or usb sick.

We can´t help you without that logfile. and the context in here is:

No logfile, no issue.

you could try to copy the movie local to your device and try playing it from there, to rule an USB-error out.

Sorry could not get the logfils because I just reinstalld the nvidia shield to factory setting
So just installed kodi an played movie from hd. No other addons. But still kodi is closing an shield is going to home scream

Sorry need no logs
Found the error. It was not kodi. .... Its the bad
Nvidia shield remote.
So if someone has that strange issue return it to the shop!!!
But thank you all for the help
