I got my original FireTV 1 (Box, not stick) remote connected to my Shield TV. It works fine, but Kodi does not recognize the menu button. Can I map it for use in Kodi? I tried using the key mapper addon, but it does not recognize that button at all when I press it. Maps fine for other buttons.
This button does nothing at all. I know the button works because it works fine on my FireTV.
Can anyone confirm that the FireTV menu button does in fact work on the Nvidia Shield?
I made my own keyboard.xml file using the FireTV remote config's in the wiki. I was told that the menu button has an ID of 0xf200. I even tried using the 0xf200 and the normal text from the wiki and neither works. I even turned on logging and looked for the menu button presses and nothing is showing up for that button. All other buttons I can see. That one never gets recognized as even getting pressed.
